Protección legal para personas en condición de vulnerabilidad

The objective of this book is to weave collaborative networks and join forces between psychologists and lawyers to fight for the welfare and justice of many people who have emotional suffering as a common denominator as a result of social injustice. These personal problems have two support fronts: therapeutic accompaniment and legal defense. The text is based on an intersectional approach, from the perspective of social justice and human rights, and analyzes seven different social categories that often involve individuals in vulnerable conditions: migrants, indigenous people, people with disabilities, LGBT+ community , elderly, children and women. Its central objective is to convey how mental health professionals can guide, accompany and support their clients when legal problems are involved in psychological distress. This work is an accessible reference tool, a practical guide to legal elements at the service of these professionals.
