This book is the result of a research project titled “Feminization of Venezuelan Migration in Colombia: Regional Analysis with a Human Rights Approach, 2014-2018.” It presents a series of reflections on the role of women within the dynamics of human mobility processes coming from Venezuela. In this text, the researchers focus on analyzing the situation of double vulnerability of migrant women, since they must face a complex situation in terms of access to rights and the consequent exposure to risks derived from leaving their place of origin or habitual residence. In addition, this study presents an approach to the international and national perspective of this reality in three Colombian cities: Bogotá, Santa Marta, and Cúcuta, while documenting the main challenges faced by this population and evidencing the need for an adequate differential approach based on a regulatory framework.
