This two-book collection presents studies aimed to reveal the social, political and cultural reality of migration in the Mexican territory, and of Mexicans in United States and back. During the past 30 years, anthropologists and sociologists have taken a keen interest in the migration of Mexicans to the United States. However, migrations such as rural-urban or interregional, and repatriation, of Asians, Europeans, South Africans and Central Americans is also critical to understand displacements that shape our society, the way they change around human, social and cultural experience within their context.
