MIGRATIONS IN PATAGONIA. SUBJECTIVITIES, DIVERSITY AND TERRITORIALIZATION
MIGRACIONES EN LA PATAGONIA. SUBJETIVIDADES, DIVERSIDAD Y TERRITORIALIZACIÓN
This book gathers diverse studies on the migrant population of Latin American countries in the Argentine Patagonia. The authors analyze the experiences and cultural practices of these groups usually ignored or made invisible by the dominant discourses, with the aim of understanding and contributing to the knowledge of the Patagonian social network. The studies address four thematic axes: displacement and migration dynamics; the productive configurations based on labor relations, family trajectories and gender issues; the social representations of local and neighborhood experiences; the construction of sense of belonging from religious practices.
