Milk production in semi-arid regions has a lot of growth potential in spite of the agro-climatic disadvantages. Understanding the problems experienced by dairy producers and discussing them are the first steps in designing regional management strategies. This book has two main goals. On the one hand, contextualize the production management within the semi arid region and, on the other hand, to address specific issues such as health, genetic and reproduction management with a different approach, with the intention to be useful for agriculture students both during their academic training and in their professional practice.
