NARRATED LIFE. MEMORY, SUBJECTIVITY AND POLITICS
LA VIDA NARRADA. MEMORIA, SUBJETIVIDAD Y POLÍTICA
This book explores the desire to capture the ephemeral record of existence that we could call the biographical temptation, as it is in the biography, in contrast to other similar genres, but also in the innovative ways of self-fiction when traumatic memories are brought into the present. Multiple voices are gathered in this text to cause a “group discussion”, from the reflection upon the “affective turn”—which seems to predominate as a temporary trend—to the delicacy that demands hearing the ones who go back to a hurt childhood—the childhood during the dictatorship—through several ways of expression. Considering the precarity of our time, art highlights are also included in its critical variant. These are voices—experiences—that draw a sensitive cartography to understand the historical fact.
