José M. Aricó was a high exponent of what has been called New Intellectual Left in Argentina. Editor, militant, socialist intellectual, essayist and translator, Aricó is remembered with veneration in circles where his imprint is indelible. However, the production of studies regarding his work is scarce. This book is the result of a research project for the Doctorate in Social Studies of Latin America of the Advanced Studies Center of the National University of Córdoba. Therefore, it is a rewrite of a doctoral thesis presented and defended in 2013. In the words of Diego Tatián, in charge of the prologue: "Nothing for lost is a text tractioned by the Latin American question, undoubtedly central in Aricó, which charges here a greater intensity in light of the most recent political history".
