When talking about fascism, many times, we find very superficial texts which describe this definition to any conservative movement or authoritarian phenomenon. In fact, the fascism has its own characteristics that must be recognized. Studying this complex set of occurrences and fights on the Western trenches is essential to understand a period that was one of the most dramatic in the contemporary human history. In this sense, reading Gramsci is vital in this work, exactly for not accepting simplifications that reduce the dynamics of “large, complicated and terrible world” through schemes or mathematical equations.
