This edition includes the work of leaders from Valle del Cauca, graduates of the Interculturality, Development and Territorial Peace Master’s degree from the Institute of Intercultural Studies who, leveraged by some institutions that subsidized them: the Government of Valle, with funds from the General System de Regalías, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, the Fundación Universidad del Valle and the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Cali, managed to carry out research related to problems and needs of their social organizations and communities in the project: Training of High Level Human Capital in Masters for Research, Development and Innovation in Valle del Cauca.
Those who write are leaders from the territories of Valle del Cauca, professionals from different disciplines who report their research results, some accompanied by their degree work directors, others individually. The works articulate three lines that make up the master’s degree they studied: interculturality, development and territorial peace; three variables that, seen in perspective and together, can mobilize positive changes to their most felt problems. The works presented here were read and valued by their social organizations as positive contributions to their questions and as advances in the appropriation of research tools not only for those who attended the program but for their territories and referents.
