For the authors of this collective work, theory and literature are “two inseparable and irreducible tensions”, according to Agamben: there is poetry in theory and thought in literature. This connection is evident in each of the articles gathered here, in their intense and affective readings: the product of a hand-to-hand work with the living matter of language.

This book proposes to the reader the journey – inevitably intense – through an area of Argentine and Latin American literary production that overflows the traditional categories of genres and aesthetic and ideological conventions.

That is the reason for the title of the volume and the problematic axis that underpins both critical reflection and the diversity of the texts addressed. Its dynamic of resistance and overflow of what is known and well-known unfolds at every moment in this collective and plural book. It avoids the rationalist imperative of giving solutions to the problems and definitive answers to the questions asked. To that movement of indefinite proliferation belongs contemporary literature and art.
