Pan-Africanismo: uma história
Pan-Africanism: A History

The book Pan-Africanism: A History, is absolutely ahead of its time. This is the first historiographical research of this century proposing to analyze the history of Pan-Africanist intellectuals, militants and organizations in Africa and the African Diaspora, establishing a sophisticated analysis of Pan-Africanism from the 18th century until the founding of the African Union. Its author, Professor Hakim Adi, is one of the most prominent theorists of Pan-Africanism today and was the first African origin person to become a professor of history in Great Britain. Translation, notes and preface to the Brazilian edition were carefully carried out by Professor Mario Soares Neto; it is a remarkable academic feat in the context of political and cultural resistance, in defense of the emancipation of African people and of African Diaspora.
