The contemporary labor market has configured new work scenarios where workforce conditions and selection criteria are increasingly ambiguous and uncertain. The selection of personnel, the last exclusive stronghold of psychology, has traditionally been seen as the essential means of ensuring the most suitable candidate for the company and the well-being of employees and their professional performance. However, there are multiple problems affecting the process of personnel selection: the productive desire coercing professionals in charge of the candidates evaluation; discrimination by social origin, ethnic group, sex, marital status, phenotype or sexual orientation, among other ethical dilemmas that show subjectivity along the process. This book distances itself from reflections that focus on the simple improvement of psychometric instruments, to contribute to the consolidation of the ethical bases of the practices studied.
