This work describes the reinstatement processes that took place in different countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, Central America, and Colombia. It also highlights the support offered to demobilized fighters who decide to come back to the civil life, in the form of working and productive opportunities. The book narrates the peace agreement processes with different groups in Colombia as well as the proposals by different Colombian institutions and experts. These proposals are intended to contribute to the reintegration of demobilized fighters from the Colombian armed conflict to the civil life either by including them in the labor market or with projects allowing them to earn their own income. Finally, this book presents a proposal from the academe to achieve this goal.
