The author argues that the object of psychometry is: psychology and education with scientific precision; based on measurements of physical magnitudes, measurements of classical and modern psychophysics and the laws of Weber, Fechner and Stevens. The book contains the characteristics of tests, analyzes the Classical test theory (CTT) and the Item response theory (IRT), the metric qualities of tests, and presents the process of elaborating a knowledge test.
