The book analyses the identity construction revealed by texts produced by social or institutional agent about space, nature, the legitimacy of use, circulation and property with respect to space and its occupants in a border area like Formosa, in the period that goes from its foundation (1879) to the decade of this provincialization (1955), in Argentina. Its reconstructs the social and ideological representations that explain the identity/alterity matrix of a social group that inhabited that territory in a given time frame, from a linguistic- discursive perspective.
