The main purpose of this publication is to make available to readers an initial guide towards authors from the early Principality who analyzed and made contributions regarding the analysis and production of various types of discourse. For that purpose, this book includes a thorough study of seven authors from Greek-Roman cultural origin from the 30 b.c – 166 a.c. period, who are mainly concerned with various disciplines (philosophy, rhetoric and historiography) and their texts belong to several discourse types (epistles, treaties and fictional dialogues). Each chapter contains an introduction, a complete survey on the author with numerous quotes in the original language and translations, the conclusions reached and a thorough bibliography that allows readers to continue researching, including noted terminology.
