What characterizes bullying in schools?, how to prevent it from happening?, how to recognize the aggressors?, what to do when identifying a case?. This book aims to raise awareness of this subject in the school community and reflects upon it trying to find ways to reverse current statistics that show high rates of bullying cases happening in many educational institutions in Brazil. The main focus here is to show that the school community needs to commit not only to find ways to prevent bullying, but also to strategically intervene in cases that have already happened and to look for new paths that can change the pedagogical behavior of the professionals working at educational settings, helping them to adopt restorative practices in the everyday school life.
