In 1965 a trunk was discovered at Gabriela Mistral home with the label "To be sent to Chile". It contained notebooks, photos, documents, letters and various objects. In 2007, Doris Atinkson, current executor of the Nobel Prize, invited the mistralian expert Luis Vargas Saavedra to detect unpublished poems. From this set, the corpus of poems was transcribed to the non-commercial edition of Almácigo and to the edition of the lullabies Baila y Sueña, both published by Ediciones UC. Now, with some revisions, this edition of Almácigo is published, to be made available to all readers.
