Research result of the authors into Social Work in Latin America, this book combines efforts to understand bases of the theoretical-methodological-historical-critical perspective in training, unprecedented in most Spanish-speaking countries. From this gap in professional training, emerges the need to spread the production of scientific knowledge developed on the subject in social work over the last decades. This is material which, articulated, combines the view of two Colombian professionals, whose analysis result in considerations regarding theoretical development, professional practice and construction of ethical-political-professional projects.
