The sociology of peace was born as a response to those who theoretically validate the way out by force, it emerges as a dream, a utopia that distances itself from the hegemonic regime of war, but, for this reason, it is precisely based on the possibility to create peace from below, from the grassroots, from the heart.
The book explores the realities that occur in Vichada, in Chocó, in the Caribbean region, in Orinoquia, in Catatumbo and in Meta. To address this complex panorama, an interdisciplinary vision is presented, which is based on sociology as an analytical matrix and allows dialogue with history, economics, anthropology, political science, geography and law.
