Ezio Macchione’s photographic collection brings together 72 images on unexplored landscapes and nature in the jungle, the highlands, and the coast of Peru. The reader will find that the approach, the interpretation, and the very selection of photographs differ from the traditional iconography with which Peru is represented. The photographs portray inhospitable corners that are part of the diverse geography of the country that dazzles and welcomes everyone moving through these unknown spaces. The photographs were taken over seven years and are divided into four sections: mountains, jungle, desert, and coast.
