In this book the author presents the Church which was born in the families and the houses before that in the Temples. These unfolded in powerful constructions and in the beauty of the art. In some phases, the links with historic power, the privileges of the missionary fervour, and the oscillations Church-State and Church-Society may surprise and hurt us. We will find episodes and periods which we are deeply ashamed of, and we feel moved to ask for forgiveness. Also, we will recognise lights of sanctity that not only illuminate the Church, but the entire society. It’s not a work that narrates foreign histories although they happen in other Continents. It is our families through History.
