The works here gathered are a clue to the critical horizon of researchers that, from several fields, contribute to the clarification of social and environmental problems our society is facing today.
The book intends to make visible the conflicts resulting from the government´s emphasis in economic growth and increased productivity, without taking into account the social and environmental implications. This way of proceeding frustrates a true development and modernization of the colombian state, and specifically, the crystallization of postconflict.
