This book analyzes the trajectory of the legal protection of cultural heritage and it’s treatment within the field of human rights to identify, on one hand, the factors that have been an obstacle and, on the other, the advances and challenges of the process towards its consolidation as a human right. At the same time, it contributes to the definition of its basic core of content and the characteristics that it assumes in the present of the province of La Pampa. From a critical and contextual perspective of human rights, we analyze both the normative moment and the social processes of its construction, as well as the way in which it redefines the relations between State and Civil Society in La Pampa.
