LA CONQUISTA ESPIRITUAL NO CONSUMADA

How to define the Mbyá, the main actors of these pages, inhabitants of the jungle of Misiones, in northeastern Argentina? The answer is: neither warriors nor cannibals: wise strategists. And why emphasize what they are not and conclude that they are wise, something apparently "unfit" for an indigenous people? Because they are, but it is not easy to be "original" and "originative" at the same time, without knocking down illustrated myths. They say: our Gods do not live in heaven but in the east and west ends of the world. Is it possible a horizontal cosmos made up of concentric rings with all inhabitants on the same plane?, wasn’t it said that the verticality of the cosmos and its three regions (sky, earth, underworld) is universal? Another almost immovable myth, even though horizontality is "readable" in wise voices from the past. Finally, is it possible for a town to sing, dance, enjoy, get emotional, dialogue with their Gods daily, representing scenes from "beyond" from sunset to a possible sunrise?.
