This work investigates the impact of world crises on various areas of culture, especially economic thinking, natural sciences, philosophy and literature.
The studies gathered focus on the first decades of the twentieth century, a stage in which the interdependence of the different regions of the planet – accompanied by that of the different spheres of life – reached the status of global, that is, it constituted a single world . It is then that the preceding historical crises converge with the new world crises and the perception of the changes is substantially modified.
Hence the importance of these six essays to begin to understand the transformations in the sciences and the cultural field within a common conceptual framework, conformed by the models of controversial spaces and world crises of the renowned philosopher of science Oscar Nudler.
