Procesos de moda multifocal. Aproximaciones teóricas y prácticas sobre indumentaria latinoamericana del siglo XXI

Fashion and clothing are constantly evolving and changing. Thanks to digital tools and globalization, trends are shared, expanded, and developed in faster and more agile ways around the world. A disruptive manner of addressing fashion and clothing through concepts that challenge standardization and tradition is growing in Latin America. Procesos de moda multifocal by Diego Labrin is a book that explores and describes an open methodology that has been created to evolve collectively from the analysis of different fashion projects in various Latin American locations. Additionally, this publication is based on diverse approaches from the field of design and from the scientific, social and artistic knowledge. It also presents evidence of this methodology in students’ work. In this book, Labrin emphasizes the myriad of theoretical references that are associated with paradigm shifts required to orient fashion and clothing toward their new purpose and place in a contemporary society.
