The work addresses human virology phenomena in a context of global health, of integration between man, animal, environment and health. The chapters deal with aspects of the virosphere such as emerging viruses, biosafety, diagnosis, general characteristics of viruses, epidemiology, prevention, among others. Bringing together hybrid and multidisciplinary areas, the Bio collection is focused on themes of intersection between biological and biomedical research, stimulating the dialogue between scientific knowledge and innovation.
