The book reunites texts whose themes are around the fights that happen in the society around sexuality and genders. In it, trans questions are examined through multiple angles, like the biomedical visions and the critic thinking about transexuality, legal reforms, body modifications and the rights of social identity and health access, for example. In the publication, are also explored the discussions about crossed discriminations or “interseccionality” between class, race and gender, the traps of identity policies and the human rights discourses and the wicked effects of institutionalization.
