Triptych. Alfonsina Storni
Tríptico. Alfonsina Storni

The Rare and Forgotten collection aims to make visible those texts by classical authors that have been lost in time or to exhibit authors who in their time achieved some placement but could not remain on the arrow of time. Our collection begins with three books by Alfonsina Storni (a triptych). Two books that the writer never reissued. Five Letters and a Swallow is the 1959 edition authorized by Alejandro Storni, the poet’s son. This book, published fragmentarily in 1919 in the magazine Hebe (in 1938, A Swallow is published), accompanies, in this case, the Love Poems of 1926 and a great find by our colleague Todd Grath: An Elegant Soul first published in 1919 in a magazine called The Elegant Novel.
