In this book the reader will be able to find the tools to make an approach to the territorial ordering with a socio-ecological base, that is to say, a territory conceived from the biogeophysical limits and designed with the ultimate aim of promoting human well-being. It is a text that can be used by students who require basic concepts to initiate their approach to the understanding of human-nature relations, as well as by decision makers, since the steps to be taken into account for a territorial ordering are presented.
The work presents situations applied to the city of Bogotá, since it stands as one of the best Latin American laboratories, since its trends follow, and increasingly faster, the directions of many metropolises worldwide in the framework of the Anthropocene.
