The book reflects the violence against LGBTI people (lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transvestites, transsexuals and intersex) as a social inequality in health. For this, the authors focus, on concepts of gender and sexuality studies, on data that show Brazil as a violent country in relation to the LGBTI population and how these actions, in all their dimensions and complexities, affect the health of these subjects.
