Water for the people
Agua para la gente

The conservation, access, distribution, use and final disposal of water are constant concerns, especially in rural areas where indigenous and peasant communities have implemented their own forms of management and handling. The text shows how water generates power in community territories; describes how communities implement strategies of conservation of water source; examines water as a fundamental axis for community development; identifies the implementation of collective-community actions against neoliberalism and finally analyzes the problem of wastewater management.
Water for People collects seven experiences from different sectors of the country that contribute to the analysis of community water management.
