The second decade of the XXIst century has reinstated women’s activism with strength and intensity in various scenarios. This happened not only in Brazil, but also in many other countries. Among other reasons, this new awakening occurred because despite of several advances the evidence of inequality in the labor market and in the family, and violence against women persist.
