The search for a revealed foundation of ecclesiastical worship is far from being a mere academic concern reserved for a specialized group of biblical theologians. It has always been a challenge to the community faith and today is the clamor of congregations going through, many times, clashing trends and currents. Worship conductors and leaders need satisfactory but also legitimate answers and guidance. Hence the blessing of the biblical text as a source of thought and inspiration both for leaders and all those that want a deeper and more significant encounter with God. Some of the most significant biblical texts about worship are present in this work, those that concern: certain patriarchal theophanies, the Exodus and Sinai manifestations, some personal and corporate experiences, the visions of the throne of God and some incidents in Gospel.
