Ediciones UC, the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile Press, was created in 1975 with the aim of providing editorial support to teaching, research, and literary creation at the University and for the publication of works of general literature. Our mission is to be a relevant actor in the dialogue with culture and a window to society, providing an effective space for the publication of books of the highest quality, in order to expand and disseminate the frontiers of knowledge. Through the publication of books of academics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica and external authors who recognize Ediciones UC as a prestigious alternative for their works, and an active catalog with 700 titles and distribution throughout Chile, we have consolidated as the main university press of the country.
