Editus – UESC Publishing House – was established and implemented in 1996 as one of the instruments to consolidate the University’s projects of development and expansion. The purpose of the Publishing House is to follow the directions of university education in Brazil, which requires the teaching staff to constantly improve their skills and practice research for new knowledge. Editus is inserted in this context as the institution´s body for the dissemination of its cultural, scientific and technical collections. In addition, it publishes works by different authors approved by the Editorial Board.
