The Technological University of Pereira, through its press, is given to the task of regulating institutional publications as a means of disseminating intellectual manifestations, the promotion of knowledge, art, and culture and thus promoting the culture of written tradition and the interdisciplinarity, strengthen its own editorial image that will certify the high quality of its publications, and increase the presence of the university in the regional, national and international context. This is how the UTP Publishing House was born, whose policy is the dissemination of scientific, technical, and human knowledge from a variety of products framed in collections of four editorial lines, composed of research papers, academic texts, essays and laureate theses, through a process evaluation, edition, production, dissemination, and marketing of books, magazines, university texts, and other conventional or electronic publications that show the intellectual production that is generated within the university, and that for its high quality and for having complied with a full editorial process are recognized with the UTP Editorial seal.
